Sea-doo Boat Models
What is the most desired reason to have the boat? Based on what you want/need, size matters.
If you have a 4 person family, you will want the larger boat as it will plane out better due to weight displacement. As Lou mentioned, you have a few engine options, 2-strokes are easier and cheaper to work on, but the 4-tech engine is a fantastic engine.
I own two skis and both have the 4-tech engines. With the 4-techs, you pretty make sure there is oil in the engine and gas in the tank. No mixing or premixing, just gas up and go. Very rare to have lean or rich condition with them, which relates to go running engines. The 2-stroke requires more paying attention to things as they can easily have lean conditions and that creates serious engine issues. For me, 4-tech is the way to go. FOr many, the love the ease of being able to fix the engine.
