Is this normal, had a 986 with 4500 hrs and never had an injector replaced. I cant think of any tractor that should need that service without any questions asked at 2000 hrs. Sounds to me like the shop is slow and needs easy business.

Unless the shop doing the work knows something others dont, maybe a service update of some sort. I would even not set valves. I think you have hyd lifters on that engine! Sounds like another great great dealer collecting money. TORQUE Posted 08:15 (#927333 - in reply to #926801) Subject: Re: Case/IH MX120 North Dakota Check your owners manual for the service interval, injectors should not need to be replaced at 2k hours unless you are using very low grade fuel and never change the fuel filters. If anything set the valves and have the injectors checked, only replace if they all are bad.
